Gratitude

"I was grateful. Grateful that he didn't chose her, grateful that he didn't leave me. Grateful that he thinks I'm all worth it. That I was worth the fight."

"Then what about those lifeless months? Those heart attacks, the crying gags and being unable to catch your breath all the time?"

"Ten times the pain, it will be all worth it. He came back and he isn't going anywhere anymore. He is going to stay Annabelle. He is going to stay. With me."

Sigh, it's hard to leave yet harder to stay. Now that I'm back, I pulled myself. Tried to move on with this wrenched heart yet everyday it gets a new bruise. Don't hit me too hard, I bleed too.
